German Yusufov began his legal career in Tucson as a litigator, representing individuals and businesses in all types of legal disputes. The cases Mr. Yusufov handled ranged from contract disputes, personal injury, employment discrimination, and civil rights cases to complex breach of fiduciary duty cases and medical malpractice. Having thus acquired extensive litigation experience, Mr. Yusufov then moved on to concentrate on bankruptcy, property taxation, and foreclosure-related matters. Mr. Yusufov had represented creditors in Bankruptcy courts throughout the United States, and was involved in hundreds of cases, including cases involving major national and international corporations.
After establishing Yusufov Law Firm PLLC, Mr. Yusufov continued to work in the bankruptcy arena, and has helped numerous businesses, as well as individuals, reorganize their financial affairs. Through this experience, he saw firsthand the detrimental effects that poor planning and lack of competent and timely legal advice can have on a business. This prompted him to develop a holistic approach to the representation of a business, wherein a business’s owners can receive advice and representation on all of their most common and critical legal issues in one place. For the last several years, Mr. Yusufov has utilized his extensive experience to guide businesses and their owners in all aspects of their affairs, including formation, contract drafting and negotiation, litigation and courtroom defense, and reorganization.
In addition to representing businesses, Mr. Yusufov continues to represent individuals who are going through financial difficulties. For such individuals, he provides a full range of legal options, including settlement and negotiation, litigation, as well as bankruptcy and debt adjustment.
Mr. Yusufov received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Arizona, and is a graduate of University High School in Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Yusufov is also a former Deputy Pima County Attorney.
